The Audacity Gallery began with a simple belief: creative people need more than walls. They need room to experiment, meet one another, test unfinished ideas, tell stories, make noise, and be taken seriously.
In Buckham Alley, visual art lives alongside music, food, performance, conversation, and creative experimentation. An exhibition can become a performance. A conversation can become a project. A person who arrived only to look around can leave with a collaborator.
This is a gallery for artists, musicians, photographers, chefs, writers, performers, makers, and the people who have an idea they have not quite figured out what to do with yet. The work does not have to arrive polished. Curiosity is enough to begin.
The Gallery will keep changing because the people inside it will keep changing it. This blog is where we will document that process—new work, local creators, events, experiments, opportunities, and stories from around Flint.
